Travel Itinerary: Amsterdam and Brussels in the Spring

Greetings everyone! Next week I will begin another extended travel journey! 😁✈

My first stop will be in Brussels, Belgium, where I’ll spend the day sightseeing in the historical city center. The next day I’ll be making a day trip to Luxembourg, which is one of the smallest countries in Europe!

After, I’ll travel to Amsterdam, where I’ll spend three days sightseeing around the city, with a side trip in the Dutch countryside. Visiting Amsterdam in April is a wonderful, since it’s the best time to visit the tulip fields. The most famous one is Keukenhof Gardens, which has the largest spring garden in the world! 😮

Amsterdam and Brussels have many attractions to see, so my days will jam-packed with activities that are both unique and affordable. I’m also interested in trying some Dutch and Belgian sweet treats!🍩☕Stay tuned to hear all about it! Until then!

  1. Hello Megan,
I continue to enjoy your wonderful adventures and your postings about them. Thanks for sharing.
When you get to Amsterdan, you might consider visiting the Aalsmeer Flower Auction, which is the largest in the world. (Reportedly held in the 4th largest building 8n the world.) (Not to be confused with the Keukenhof or tulip gardens.) Our schedule did not allow for this but it sounds amazing and I hope to get there at some point. Amsterdam is such a lovely city, you will undoubtedly enjoy whatever you do.
Travel safely and well, Suzanne G.
