Wonderful Wisconsin: Pumpkin Pie in July

This weekend has been all about family. They are my rock and my support. I could not imagine going on this venture without their love and encouragement. They threw a going away party for me today and cooked all of my childhood favorites.

They asked me what food I would miss most when I was gone. We had meatloaf, noodle casserole, mashed potatoes, and green beans. On top of all those delicious foods, I was very upset at the thought of missing Thanksgiving this year. My aunt was sweet enough to whip up a pumpkin pie, so I could enjoy that holiday favorite of mine. Look at the adorable Mexican themed pie crust shapes.pumpkin pieMy family is amazing and now we are all VERY full! ūüėÄ

Saying goodbye is not easy and I cannot put into words how much I will miss them all when I am away. I am one lucky girl to have them in my life.20140706_122129_zpsbe029ab8 20140706_124534_zpsdf6d2b9a20140706_123620-1
